New Massimo del Panino... and Tango Gelato in the FiDi

After dropping $10 a piece and not getting enough to eat at Mijita, Erika and I split a vegetarian sandwich at the new Massimo del Panino at the base of Market Street, across the street from One Market. It's actually called Lounge di Massimo or Studio di Massimo or something, and has a sleeker look with energetic music playing. But the sandwiches all looked the same. We didn't care for the vegetarian sandwich--a rather tiresome stack of eggplant, peppers, and bitter greens--so I'll stick to some of my favorites (bresaola, speck, but especially the mortadella) on future visits to this more convenient location.

I don't recall if this was the case at the old location, but this one serves Tango Gelato, 20 flavors worth.
