Maru's Bhajia House

Maru's is a vedgitarian South Indian Restaurant @ 230 Ealing Road, Alperton, Wembley. It is well worth a trip for very hot, basic food freshly cooked, small dishes almost like Tapas, but cheaper. The star of the show is definetly Maru Bhajia, slices of Potato dipped in gram flour and deep fried then eaten with a blindingly hot and sour dipping sauce. Also good where the Mogo ( chips of Casava ) in a hot sauce, Bhel-Poori was sweet, hot and very moreish. The Lassi is essential and very good.

Add a visit to an Indian Sweet Shop, and some shopping aand theres fine hounding to be had in this area. Also worth checking out is the Hindu Temple being built just up the road.

All the best
