Recently, I stopped by this colorful little seafood shack on Centinela and was pretty impressed. I ordered their Shrimp Cocktail and was pleasantly surprised by what I got. It comes in a plastic cup chock full of whole poached LARGE shrimp that are swimming in a gazpacho-like broth that is perfectly seasoned. There are also diced white onions and cilantro garnishing the Cocktail. I also tried several of their tacos including a lobster taco that had two warm corn tortillas encasing lobster meat still hot from the frier, cole slaw, and mexican crema. Most of their seafood there is fried but it still seems a cut above the other seafood taco places I've been. Everything just seems a little fresher and better seasoned. On weekend mornings, the owner tells me that there is a line outside the door before he opens for his seafood soup, which he swears by as a hang-over killer.
