Marino's pizza: down down downhill

Marino's (in North Flushing) had decent pizza. We
noticed new staff and some surprises: a
half-cooked pizza was whisked out of the metal
oven into the brick oven. A new item, huge movable
focaccia slabs with greens and vegetables in the
middle, had undercooked fillings groaning under
the weight of jar-packed crushed garlic. My
Italian wife could not venture more than one bite.
The escarole and bean soup resembled dishwater
and talow quality mush. They once had decent
