Do you eat pizza with beef slices on in the US?
It´s very normal where I´m from (Norway). And this one chain has got a very good marinade, that I´m trying to copy. I´ll post my progress so far on the recipe:
Add about 150 grams of small beef slices in
-2tbs of apple cider vinegar
-1ts of liquid Hickory smoke
- 1tbs of olive oil
-Season with cayenne pepper, paprica powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
They turned out quite good, but the recipe I´m trying to copy has more acid taste, and it seems no matter how much apple cider vinegar I´m putting in, it does not create enough acidic taste. The beef I´m copying has a really tangy BBQ sauce taste.
I´ve also tried marinating beef directly in barbecue sauce, but that was completely useless.
Also, the beef I´m trying to copy is much more moist. I´m wondering if they have chili oil in it, because it also has a bit more heat than mine. But despite adding olive oil in, it turned out very dry, after baking.
