I went to the Manna Bakery, on Western a few blocks south of Wilshire on the east side of the street in a mini-mall. It has standard Korean bakery stuff but the people are friendly and the quality is a step above. I had three things: some donut-like pastries with white bean paste inside, a scone-like cornbread, and a slightly crunchy bun with some kind of mashed vegetables inside. The donut was quite good as a donut but the bean paste added more texture than flavor. The other two items, though, were very good. The cornbread had really good corn flavor, and the vegetable bun had an interesting flavor and was interesting to eat.
