I have just discovered this place and I am a happy camper. I would love some advice on places not to miss in Manhattan. I'm one of those tourists ya'll love to rail on (but I feel your pain, I live in Washington DC - we get lots of those too). :-) (and, I must say, recently, we love them all!)
We'll be near Radio City, the museums (Guggenheim), Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and possibly the East Village and are looking for reasonably priced places we will not need a reservation at. We are also typical tourists who will probably not dressed up. We are looking for:
- a good deli
- good NY pizza
- maybe a place for brunch after the 9 AM (not my idea) Radio City show?
- classic Italian
- anything else that is unique and special to NY and not to be missed.
Thanks for any tips and I'll go see if I can help you out on DC dining!
