NYMagazine reports the City Bakery serves mamaliga ("Jewish grits"). Is it the "real thing" there? Who else serves it in the city (all boroughs fine--Manhattan's closest) and what should we look for in terms of quality and/or "authenticity"? We got hit by an inexplicable craving. Maybe it's the weather.
