Mall food court in Newark-Sabana(Indian)-Any others ?

Han Lukito | Jul 15, 200411:59 AM

I was in Newpark Mall and found couple of interesting places. Yes, it is in a mall. The name of the place is SABANA. I am no expert in Indian food but I think this one place had excellent chicken kebabs if not oustanding. It reminds me of eating on the side of the road in Asia.

-Chicken Reshmi Kabab is moist and had slightly reddish orange colour. Big stick of meat
-Chicken Tikka Hariyali Kabab is just superb. It had lots of greenish coloured coating that is somewhat coarse. Wow !
-Chicken Tikka Kabab is similar to the first one I think but is dark brown colour to it.
-Lamb massala is another superb dish with lots of sauce and falloff the bone meat. The previous versions at other places were not as tasty as this place.

If any Indian knows what I am talking about, pls chime in.

At another stall, I also has a Texas style beef brisket and chicken that was also quite nice. Just competent I think.

Mall food is now getting more interesting with these choices.

Any others ? Maybe at other malls ?
