This spot, in the old location of Saigon Grill, has been open for a few weeks, but I haven't noticed any reviews yet on Chowhound.
I went with two friends last night and I'm sorry to say that the food was mediocre at best. All the sauces ran together (peanuts, IMO, are too dominant in most of the sauces) and some were remarkably similar to Saigon Grill preparations (leading me to believe that the ownership and/or some of the chefs are the same). For the record, we had roti canais (the roti freshly made, but the curry bland and too peanutty), a grilled salmon in banana leaf, kari udang (shrimp with eggplant, okra, onion, string beans in a coconut curry) that was a mess, although the shrimp itself was of decent quality, and a lacklustre nasi lemak (the coconut rice wasn't particularly tasting, the sambar and curried chicken pallid -- only the fried anchovies livened up the dish.
Service was very friendly, if haphazard, and prices were very reasonable.
