If so, what flavor and style?
I'm making the texmex kind starting with powdered masa and cooked in corn husks. Fillings will be plain, spiced pork (mild), pork with red sauce(med), pork with refried beans and Serrano (hot), and pork with refrieds and habanero(really hot).
Real lard is hard to find so I'm thinking I'll simmer the pork with a little bacon, chill, and use that fat in the masa. Think it'll work?
