Stopped in here early last night sans rez for a light dinner before a show. We were taken to a nice table on the back patio. Both hostess and waitress were friendly and helpful.
shrimp cocktail was 5 medium-sized pieces sort of oddly placed in the silver holder so that you had to dig the tail out. Came with lemon and sauce. Nothing special but ok.
brie and crab quesadilla. very good. 4 pieces served with mango salsa. not overly cheesy. crab was good.
magnolia salad: mix of radicchio, frisee, other greens, gorgonzola, apples, candied walnuts. nice, not overly dressed, a little heavy on the cheese for my taste.
apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. not bad but a little mushy, with regular ice cream not vanilla bean. had better next door at bowery.
no espresso, only regular, for now, but good for regular. waitress comped it to be nice.
house pinot grigio. not bad for $7. for $8 no. you know what i'm saying.
Total: $62 (incl tax and 20-something percent tip)
