Okay, I know that In-N-Out has become somewhat of a cult favorite, but I never expected to see what I just saw in Daly City. We were getting off the freeway at Eastmoor and came upon an incredible traffic jam. There were two city cops directing traffic (which was backed up across two intersections.) I thought that there had been an accident, but no, it was just the grand opening of the In-N-Out Burger on Eastmoor just off 280 (next to that other cult favorite, Krispy Kreme) and it seemed that everyone had to have their fix today. I don't really understand the popularity of these two places, but they sure are raking in the bucks. What do you think accounts for this?
