The recent contest on Mac and Cheese on this site happened to coincide with a new visit to Michel Rostang's bistrot d'à côté in Villiers. They have the best Mac and Cheese on the planet. In French we call this one "Gratin de macaronis au vieux beaufort". As the name suggests, it is made with Beaufort cheese, and I can't think of a better mac and cheese anywhere, even at home. Their menu-carte is 39euros for three courses, and this is a very good restaurant/bistrot on the whole. So I thought I would share. They also have great fish and a variety of things, lighter and more refined. But I am unable to go there without ordering that.
