Last night I was in the village and had a craving for a cheeseburger, so I went to Blue9, which I had read about on this board. Not bad

On the way to the subway, I passed a new (apparantly, it still had bunting out) store called m2m, which stands for morning to midnight, and calls itself an Asian convenience store.

They had lots and lots of Asian stuff, sauces, snacks, more kinds of instant ramen than I have ever seen.

They also have a small seletion of fresh fruits and vegetables, and some fresh fish and meat. Lots of frozen noodles and dumplings.

Many things only have labels in Japanese or Korean, but the shelves are clearly marked in English.

So if you get a craving for frozen natto at 11:30 at night, this is the place to go.

It is on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 11th street, East side
