Lunch at Wild Willy's in Watertown

Jpan99 | Dec 22, 2004 11:59 AM

Had lunch at Willy's today, first time. I had the basic Willy burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion, which I thought was pretty tasty. Cooked medium-well but still juicy.

As mentioned by someone else on this board, the fries were a bit undercooked, and way too salty. I rarely complain of food being over salty but I could only eat a couple of them before I gave up. Next time I'll order them with no salt.

If you've never been before, the menu is basically burgers (all $5.75), a couple of chicken sandwiches, chili, fries, onion rings, frappes and assorted beverages. Oh, and they have a vegie burger as well.

Burger, small fries and a coke for $9.66...remember that old McDonalds commercial where the guy orders 2 cheeseburgers, fries and a coke, hands the girl a $1 and gets change back? Those were the days...
