So it turns out that I might not have to be in the office on Friday, a welcome surprise indeed. So considering that I've spent just about every single lunch for the last 8 months eating at my desk, I was thinking about taking myself out for a nice(ish) lunch somewhere -- not too expensive, hopefully under $30 with a drink.
I was thinking about the Spotted Pig, because I do want to try it, and hopefully the wait won't be too bad at lunch. Is this place worth it? I recognize the that awarding it a Michelin star was most likely ludicrous.
Any other recommendations? I will eat anything and go anywhere in Manhattan. Thanks!
