Lunch at the Seewee

Sue in Mt P | Aug 2, 2012 03:58 PM

I posted in an earlier thread that I am doing my best to eat all over town and 'burbs before I move away. I had lunch today at Seewee and it was outstanding.

One of the specials was a flounder, shrimp, and oyster platter with 2 sides. For $15. Yup. It was a deal. I got the flounder and shrimp broiled Seewee style:with garlic butter. There were little pieces of minced garlic all over them. I got the oysters fried. They'll do it however you want it.

I got fried okra and fried eggplant for my sides. I know. Bad. But I'm leaving! I had to! Their fried eggplant is always so light, and the okra was very fresh. I was in excellent company, which always makes things enjoyable.

So good bye Seewee! For now.
