Lunch at Pollo Sabroso in Wheaton

deangold | Apr 13, 2008 09:27 AM

Half chicken with slightly dry casiementios (beans & rice) and fried plantain (outstanding). The chicken was very flavor, the dark meat luscious and the breast only a touch dry in parts. The incendiary hot green sauce made all alright. dining companion had carne asada- very well spiced and lemony, great refried beans (smooth style) dry rice. The salad had dressing out of a jar but hit the spot with the basic food. 2 beers and food enough to put us both in a stupor for $25. A real workingman's bar/restaurant. We were the only folk in there without pain or other construction debris on our clothing.
