Lunar New year Treats

galleygirl | Feb 7, 2005 09:44 PM

The banh mi thread below seems to be morphing into a thread about Lunar New Year bakery items...Mix Bakery has Lunar New Year cakes, and different sizes of fresh turnip cakes, steamed in a tin and topped with Chinese sausage and shrimp. What else have you seen, and/or tasted, and where?

If you tried it, please try to describe them, for those of us with a limited calorie budget, who must make these tough decisions! ;)

And please, limit it to Boston area locations, to keep it Boston-board centric...
