lump crab and other costco discontinued goodies

I used to go to Costco every week right before I did my regular grocery shopping for things I don't buy in bulk. I rarely go more than once every month now. Not that Costco isn't a great store they just constantly get rid of the things we love. My Mom, daughter and I all go together and we share things that we don't need so much of so we can all take advantage of better prices. We take ice coolers with us so we can keep things cold or frozen. We have a cart we each pay for that has our own stuff in it and a cart for shared items. We divide the shared cart by 3 and the other 2 give that amount to the payer. Easy to do. Like I said they keep discontinuing all the time. I used to have a cart full of stuff I would buy for my event business but don't buy any of those items because they aren't there and the things they replace those items with are not my preference. I have asked about the Kirkland Brand Lump Crab in a 4 can pack so many times only to be told it is now a seasonal item but it is never there any more. They say "oh but let me show you the replacement crab in a can in the refer section". Well- it isn't as good (more mushy) and way more expensive. Can't afford to make my recipe with that stuff. Wall Farms makes raspberry preserves in a 2 jar pack. I used to make my scones with it. Now they have Marion Berry only-bought it once and we gave it to the neighbors. I buy Walls raspberry at Fred Meyers now and it is cheaper for the same thing. When I ask about it they say yes we have it and they show me where it is - nope M berry. and they always suggest strawberry. I say yes but it is a spread. Who in their right mind pays that price for a spread. If I am looking for preserves I don't want spread. So as time goes by I have found where to replace all the items they sell that are not Kirkland brands-they are available other places for better prices. It is the few items I love that are Kirkland that I can't replace so now for the price of an annual membership for so few items this is all our last year at Costco. You want me to stay bring back Kirkland canned crab in the 4 pack or tell me where to get it. OH well farewell Costco. I miss my weekly trips....
