Luibueno lunch

I had a wonderful lunch at Luibueno this week. We started with their chips and salsa, a huge basket of really great crispy warm slightly salty chips. We decided to order the side of guacamole which was a very large bowl of chunky beautiful guac for just $6.00. For drinks our table had the Cadillac Margarita, and two Sangrias (I had the embellished version with a float of tequila.) We moved on to entrees of carnitas ( a very generous portion, crisp, juicy packed with flavor) which included a choice of corn or flour tortillas, refried beans and rice I think it was $17.00 definitely a great value. I had the ala carte fresh grilled ahi burrito with lots of yummy black beans and 2 sauces, 2 nice long pieces of fish. Our other diner had the taco entree (2) which I think was $11.00, she had the fish of the day which was maui, grilled instead of the blackened. They're nice sized tacos with rice and beans. Our server was really really good, she followed our lead and offered great advice on the menu when asked. She was great to have as a representative of the restaurant. Everything was clean including the bathroom. It was a later lunch, we got there about 1:30 and there was still a good crowd. I would definitely go back and recommend it highly.
