Luella was good

Donald | Nov 21, 2005 11:39 PM

Went to Luella (hyde @green)last night. Good. Brandade was excellent. Sweetbread app tasty, though cut into small bits. Nice potato-leek-almond soup. Pork shoulder tasty, veal pasta was too. For dessert had orange ricotta fritters, like donut holes. Warm, crisp, sweet, delicious. With 3 glasses wine came to $112 before tip. Not very crowded on Sunday. Why not? Other places in Russian Hill packed (Frascati, someother Italian place I passed also. Parking an absolute NIGHTMARE! Service friendly and inobtrusive. Check it out--walk or cab.
