I had a very nice meal at Luce, the new restaurant on 6th Ave. and 11th St. The grilled wild salmon was the most perfectly cooked salmon I've ever had, and the side of butternut squash and beets was interesting. My friend had the pappardelle with sausage and duck, which was very rich with an amazing mix of flavors. The penne with roasted cauliflower, broccoli raab and pine nuts was pretty tasty, too. The only "eh" thing was the apple cake for dessert. The cake wasn't the greatest, but the cinnamon ice cream made up for it.
Anyway, I'm excited to have a decent restaurant in the 'hood.
