I love Out the Door

The best breakfast I can imagine this side of Yonghe is a bowl of vegetarian dumplings in a marvelous tart broth at Out the Door. I'm guessing the wrapper is made of rice flour: it's translucent, thick and pleasingly chewy. The vegetarian steamed dumplings are also fantastic.
