A LOST GEM

about a year ago i went to this little hole in the wall but quaint Italian "restuarant" it seemed more like a take out place but there were two tables in the corner to sit at. i was with a couple friends and we ordered pasta dishes.. they came in a big bowl with a fork and we took them to our table and ate the most wonderful pasta you can find in NYC...
I NEED TO FIND THIS PLACE AND I DONT REMEMBER THE NAME!!!

it was in lower manhattan...
it had a counter...
it was really small..
the kitchen was litterally right behind the counter..
IT WAS THE BEST PASTA EVER..
it was kind of like a really nice pizza place except it served pasta,, i dont remember if they had pizza.. i bet they did..
PLEASE HELP i know this is not a lot to go on but if you think you might know what im talking about give me a RE:
