Los Compadres Truck in Civic Center

I finally got a free minute to head the two blocks away to the corner of Polk and Hayes where they parked a new taco truck about 2 weeks ago.
I had the pastor taco and a quesadilla. The taco was good, the pastor was delicious and the hot sauce it was served with was excellent, full of flavor and heat but only enough to make you crave more. It came with radishes, a jalapeno and line. The quesadilla was, oddly, even better. It looked more like a thin hot pocket than any quesadilla I have had from taquerias. It was stuffed with a thin layer of cheese, cilantro and more of that hot sauce and grilled to a golden, crispy brown.

I have not yet hit any of the other taco trucks in the surrounding area but do stop in at most taquerias I spot so my taco truck rating system is simple. This one is the top, and only, but I will definitely be returning and soon.
