Hello St. Louis hounds!
I will be in St. Louis for a short while this weekend (a couple of days) and I'd love to sniff out some excellent, authentic, regional chow-- particularly the stuff that's hard to find in Los Angeles.
In other words, I'm *not* looking for food that can be had in LA-- particularly sushi, Chinese food, or pretty much anything Asian for that matter. We don't have a good Little Italy in Los Angeles, so I would be open to that.
So what are the local specialities/cuisines that St. Louis does better than anyone?
