How long can I leave raw chicken out before I smoke?

I am going to smoke some chicken wings this evening. I put my rub/marinade on them and then accidentally left them on the counter for about 4 hours. My house is around 68 degrees. I put them back in the refrigerator and plan to put them in the smoker in about an hour. Am I ok!?!
