I've been meaning to try the Lonestar Steakhouse on Irvine Blvd. in Tustin. I've driven by it and it looked to be the same chain from the East Coast (Florida, etc.). I can't seem to recall if it was Lonestar Steakhouse or Longhorn Steakhouse which I tried and loved when I was out on business out there a while back. Whichever one it was that I went to, it was good steak at a reasonable price.

Since I live in Irvine I have been to Ruth Chris (LOVED IT), tried Mortons (HATED IT) and Outback (when I'm short on cash)...I was hoping that Lonestar would fit in among these three, hopefully closer in quality to Ruth Chris but priced like Outback. Perhaps I'm asking for too much here. I've seen Lonestar's menu on their website, but it does not list prices.

In any case, has anyone tried this place? Is it good?
