London Chow Tour Itinerary

C. Simon | Apr 21, 2005 03:11 PM

My wife and I are planning a week in in London in early June. I have scoured chowhound in an effort to perfect our chow choices. Our primary goal is to seek out and enjoy food that we might not have the opportunity to enjoy but for our trip to London. This rules out, for example: pizza, Mexican, kebabs (ubiquitous in D.C.), New American, etc.

On the other hand, it renders absolutely necessary: bangers, fish and chips, chicken tikka masala (for the wife), meat pies, treacle, pubs, butteries, rare British cheeses, proper tea, cutting-edge British cuisine, pig, etc.

We will be staying at the Covent Garden Hotel. One of the perks of this location is that it will allow daily trips to Monmouth Coffee and Neal's Yard Dairy, which are both a stone's throw away.

Right now, my very tentative eating schedule looks like this.

Feel free to comment on these or make other suggestions.
