Loma Azul tequila

Just wanted to recommend Loma Azul Blanco tequila.

I luckily live in a neighborhood with a really good liquor warehouse. It's not a chain, just a huge warehouse in an industrial park. What makes it good is the guys who work their really know their stuff when it comes to spirits. They've led me down a wonderful bourbon path the past few years.

Looking for an affordable tequila, they recommended Loma Azul Blanco. Great stuff, smooth, smooth smooth. Yeah, I've tried nicer tequilas that cost much more. I'm not suggesting it's the greatest tequila.

But if you're looking for a bottle that costs less than 20 dollars (you read that right) but tastes like a much more expensive bottle, try Loma Azul.

I mix it with ice, club soda and a little lemon or lime. (This is my version of tequila and Squirt, which is a bit too sugary for me.) It makes a nice margarita, too.

At the price, you can't go wrong. I've been going through bottles all summer.

If you can't find it near you, I'm pretty sure Beverage Warehouse ships. They have a website you can check.
