Our local grocery store is having a special on whole pork loin this week -- .99/lb. Being unemployed and utilizing all of the frugal food ideas I can...I'm wondering if it would be worth it to have some ground.
I'd get one to divide up myself for chops and a roast. But I'd get a second and see if the butcher would grind it for me. (I don't have a meat grinder at home, but guess I need to look into that.)
Would loin work? "Regular" ground pork is running around 2.39/lb, which is why I'm asking.
