I'm trying to find cuisine like I had in Sicily -- dishes like the following:
pasta con le sarde (pasta w/ sardines);
pasta alla Norma (pasta w/ eggplants and tomatoes);
involtini di pesce spada (swordfish rolls);
spaghetti bottarga (w/ fish roe);
pasta w/ sea urchins;
panzelle or panelle (?) which is fried chickpea fritters.
One Chowhounder recommended FERDINANDO'S in Carroll Gardens; another said FERDINANDO'S isn't good.
