Hey everyone. I'm new here and I live in the Long Beach area. I am looking for a local butcher that is clean but fairly cheap, if that's possible. Some of the meat I am interested in is Rabbit and lamb. I've read that rabbit is very lean and low in cholesterol, but I don't know what I should be looking at price-wise.
If anyone knows what an average price for a rack of lamb (Frenched or not) and pricing on rabbit, then I would be very glad to hear them. I don't have a lot of money but I want to support a local butcher if possible.
Also, if anyone has any recipes or suggestions for rabbit and rack of lamb please let me know. I've only had rabbit once and that was awhile ago. It was good but smothered in rosemary, which I'm not a huge fan of. My experience with lamb is mostly from the local Greek festival. Thanks for reading and for any help in advance.
