local brew pubs - not sports bars? [Dayton]

runabout | Mar 18, 201209:16 AM     2

Seeking your expert guidance again. I miss going to brew pubs... not the mainstay of my social life, but used to go many times a year back in ol SF, and just hang out with friends.

Anybody out there point me to a few actual pubs?

Not looking for the dime a dozen sports bars

- but a more traditional pub - couches or comfy come and stay a while seating, a focus on a good friendly social atmosphere, and an absence of the ubiquitous blaring TV that Daytonians seem to be unable to live without

I don't even care if the beer selection is limited... I miss atmosphere, and that small town feel of a true pub.

many many thanks... again...
