We just got back from Maine, where my husband and I consumed 21 lobsters between us. Of course, we came back craving more so that we could fantasize that we were still up there. We saw an ad for jumbo lobsters (5 lbs. and up) at Garden of Eden on Montague Street in the Heights. My questions are: 1) Has anyonwe sampled their lobsters? and 2) Has anyone steamed and eaten lobsters that large? I've heard that they're just as tender as smaller lobsters if their cooked correctly, but... Any feedback? Incidentally, when I called them, they said the smallest they have this week are 7 to 8 pounders? ZOWIE!!! My friend was funny. She it it was eating a small dog!
