just brought home some lobster tails from the north end (boston) and i'm not sure if i should put them in the fridge or not. i do want to refridgerate them because they are filled with pastry cream. however, i don't want to refridgerate them because the delicious, crispy, flaky pastry outside may get soggy if i do. it's past 1 AM and i couldn't possibly eat them both now. well actually i could, but i shouldn't.
are they safe to leave out on the counter, or should i put them in the fridge and hope for the best?
