Best Lobster Roll ever - Confirmed

Al Fresco | Sep 13, 200112:10 PM     2

In a lower post, I extolled the virtues of the lobster roll my dining companion received at Kimball Farm in Jaffrey, NH.

Well, this weekend, we returned and I did not hesitate to order this monster for myself.

It is simply incredible -
A well-toasted, split-top hot dog bun piled with lobster twice the height of the bun. I needed to eat half of it with a fork before I could attempt to sink my teeth into it. There was literally one piece of celery as filler - No bread - The filler basically consisted of lobster fragments - The amount of claw meat was overwhelming - Along with a healthy portion of waffle-cut fries and a slice of watermelon for $10, I defy anyone to find a better example of the lobster roll species.

Also, be forewarned - I ordered a two-scoop ice cream cone that I needed to finish the next day due to its generous girth.

I am in chowhound heaven just thinking about it.
