Attention chowhounds! There is a new Chinese restaurant in Memphis that is definitely worth a visit. Lobster King Seafood at 32 N. Cleveland lives up to its name. The regular menu has pictures and has a mixture of their Cantonese seafood dishes as well as typical Szechuan/Mandarin fare ( e.g. Mu shu pork, kung pao chicken etc.) Ask for the Cantonese menu which they give to their Asian customers and you will get the most extensive Chinese menu in town. The restaurant's owner also owns the adjacent Viet Hoa grocery store which has extensive seafood section, including tanks with live lobster, dungeness crab, clams, oysters, chinese carp, tilapia, occasionally grouper, as well as the more exotic eel, snails and frog. Accordingly, what you get next door at Lobster King is fresh. Best dishes include spicy soft shell crab, scallops in black bean sauce, lettuce wraps with duck, and crab or lobster just about any way. Definitely worth a try.
