lobster bisque request

I have a friend who's crazy for lobster bisque, and I'd like to make him some at home. But I'm way too squeamish to deal with any recipe that calls for chopping up a whole LIVE lobster. That's way too creepy for me. Anyone have a nice recipe (or a cookbook suggestion) for some tasty lobster bisque that doesn't require me to put a knife through the head of a live critter? thanks!
