Lobsta Truck, tonite.

kevin | Dec 8, 201010:31 PM

i passed by sawtelled and noticed the much heralded truck, luckily, i was actually pretty hungry, and indavertently ran into it, immediately park the car, got out, and went to the truck.

no line? well, i ordered up a lobsta roll, around 12 bucks, which is very pricey for a street cart truck, but when i bit inot it, there were some great lobster chunks in the drawn butter piled into a beautifully toasted top loading bun that was also buttered. great stuff, and gone in about three bites. usually lobster rolls are pretty tiny though i think it's a little biggers than other places., and this was too, but it is rich, but not terribly rich, i think this is much better than the other lobster rolls at the restaurants around town, and luckily even though expensive it's still roughly half the price of those restaurant lobster rolls varietals.

and it was really great stumbling upon this joint. and did i mention no lines? i think they were about to close up shop for the evening, they were in the sawtelle corridor, near olympic, anyhow, great stuff. and they take credit cards too.
