Livingston, MT and environs

I visited Livingston recently and ate at three places. At the Grand in Big Timber I had the lamb which was very good and the ambiance and service are very good. At Chatham's Livingston Bar & Grill I had the spaghettini which turned out to be very good. At the Winchester the dish I chose was a baked salmon with an herb crust on cranberries. It was very interesting but overdone. All these places are worth a visit.

In traveling to Montana it is worth mentioning that the Sandpiper in Idaho Falls has a wonderful venue and bad food. The Hamada, in the Hilton Flamingo, in Las Vegas has very good service and very good food at a very good price.Bon appetit.
