My List for New Orleans Trip

Trekbody | Aug 16, 200505:37 PM

Thanks for many of the great responses to my questions and just in general the passion of the chowhounds here on the New Orleans Board. My wife and I are SO exited to go. Having so much difficulty creating a list around our 5-day trip (which will include an unspecificed amount of work) we had to keep it flexible, so my list will definitely not be completed this trip, but includes a lot of the great recommendations here, so that at a moment's notice we could drop into some fine eatery and know what to order. I will let the Chowhouds know how we fared in October. Any comments on the list are still appreciated... I made price guesses based on many of the comments here (1-4 $). Why did I mix and match the high-end restaurants with lower-cost ones? Because I cannot afford to dine at $$$$ places every night, so I need some $$ options, and these are the ones that looked most interesting to a humble tourist. We will never get to them all, but intend to hurt ourselves trying!
