My husband and I used to dine frequently at Linwood's in Owings Mills. We always enjoyed the cuisine and atmosphere. Service was fantastic.
Since we haven't dined there in quite some time, I just brought up their on-line menu and was APPALLED at the prices for the various entrees. TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS for liver and onions? I remember when they used to charge about $14 or $15 dollars for that particular dish. I wouldn't mind $18 or even as high as $20--but $27!!!!!!
I'm not familiar enough with the other offerings to determine whether the price points are valid. Since we dine at Flemings, Prime Rib, Milan, Sotto Sopra, Oregon Grill, Charleston, etc. with some frequency, we are not put off paying for quality food, service and atmosphere.
Am I being to persnickety with regards to being put off by Linwood's prices? FoiGras
