Hi Chowhounders. We're visiting your lovely city in a couple of months and I've already been dreaming about the food we will eat. After countless hours of reading this board and navigating the available websites, I'm still torn between our Friday night dinner and Monday night dinner.
Friday - Brunoise or Le Chasse et Peche?
Monday - Les Chevres or L'Epicier?
Both places for each night sound delicious and in the same price range. Atmosphere and service, while important to us, are secondary to quality and tastiness/deliciousness of food. Where would you go? I'm as happy with cutting edge methods of execution as I am with traditional methods. Again, deliciousness is most important. (I know deliciousness sounds very subjective, but it's the only word I can think of to describe that ecstatic feeling in your mouth when you've eaten something, well, delicious.)
If it helps, we plan to eat at Le Chronique on Saturday and Au Pied de Cochon on Sunday. (And of course will fill the remaining space in our bellies with Olive e Gourmando brownies and Schwartz's smoked meats.)
