Hello fellow bakers and happy holidays,
So to make a long story short, like a lot of people, I often send in baked goods with my husband to share with his office mates. One of them has fallen in love with my lemon squares and offered to pay for an entire pan of them. I am thinking of taking her up on it and want to find a nice way to package them.
So far, I am considering baking them in an 8 x 8 aluminum tin and then either wrapping in cellophane with a festive ribbon or finding a bakery box... Would this work? (I have never baked in a tin before...) Other ideas?
Also, I (and I think plenty of other fellow bakers) hate the fact that the powdered sugar I sprinkle on top melts so quickly. I know that King Arthur makes some sort of "non-melting" powdered sugar...Thoughts from anyone who has tried it? I am dubious in terms of its flavor and if it would be worth buying... Do I have any other alternatives re: ensuring the sugar does not melt?
