Too much lemon/acidity in dish - how to remove?

I made a tajine and forgot to remove the lemon (plain lemon, not salted) that was marinating with the chicken and now the entire dish is too sour, anything I could do other than trying to balance the flavours.

I added a bit of sugar which helped, but are there any other tips I'm not aware of?
