Managed a quick visit to the long awaited/newly opened private liquor store in Olympic Village today and was quite impressed.
Despite my looking like something the cat dragged in/being soaking wet/dressed in ragged winter cycling clothes I was greeted with a friendly smile by the first Staff member I encountered and the service was excellent all through my abbreviated inspection.
Didn't take the offered tour by the outgoing and knowledgeable person who offered-no time really-but did manage a quick overview of most products-this place has all kinds of selection/all sorts of product from all over including Canadian products that I had only heard rumours of plus a fair amount of bling to boot.
I'm impressed by the planning that went into this store-it's a winner right out of the gate this city has never seen anything like it.
