Ledge Kitchen Dorchester

Good weather always draws me to the Ledge because of their wonderful outdoor patio. Over the past few years the food has been up and down and currently, they don't have a head chef, but their were some clear winners. I thought the dry rubbed wings were some of the best I ever had. The skin was nice and crispy and the chicken was moist it was served with chunky bleu cheese dip. Calamari with greens and vinegar peppers was another winner. The disappointments were the house chips which I assumed would be served hot and were not. The garlic aioli tasted like Cains but not sure if there was even any garlic in it. Then the arrancini OMG, they tasted more like mozzarella sticks. Upon leaving the Ledge we walked by the Sweet Life Bakery and the loaf of brioche in the window lured me in. What a nice little cafe with plenty of seating and some delicious looking sweets. I need to go back and explore further.
